For months, the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has been threatening to pull the plug on \u201cunregistered\u201d virtual private networks. They gave deadlines, issued vague threats, and promised a streamlined registration process for legitimate businesses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As of January 2026, the grace period is over. The hammer has officially dropped.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
